I write romance with an edge—although sometimes that edge comes with a mystery, a shifter, ancient magic, or a sweet holiday meet-cute in the mountains. After twenty-five years in creative design, I traded client deadlines for fictional ones. I still love creating, but now I use that energy to build complicated characters, emotional love stories, dangerous secrets, magical worlds, and happily-ever-afters worth fighting for. My books travel widely. The Coming Home Series takes readers to Wyoming ranch country, where family history, old wounds, and unexpected love collide. The Canyon Pack Series heads into the West Texas canyonlands for fated mates, pack conflict, and shifters with attitude—and teeth. The Time Unfinished Series blends mystery, suspense, political intrigue, and slow-burn romance in Washington, D.C. I also love writing gentler stories, including First Nowell, a sweet meet-cute romance set in the North Carolina mountains. And soon, I will be opening the door to Þrímánis: The Blood Star Chronicles, my romantasy world of ancient clans, mythic beasts, dangerous magic, three moons, and a destiny that could change everything. I live in East Texas with my husband and three rescue cats, who remain convinced that every writing session should include a lap, a keyboard, or both. When I am not writing or creating bookish content, I am likely planning a camping trip as I work toward visiting all fifty states and every national park.
