Diva Weava Designs

I’m a self-taught finger weaver who creates pieces that are influenced by African American culture and southern folk ways. I source most of my materials from thrift shops, antique stores, and repurposing my own textiles in the spirit of my ancestors who made beauty from scraps. Since 2011, I’ve conducted workshops throughout the southeast and mid-Atlantic regions as well as demonstrating at festivals and art events.
