WYRDandy

WYRDandy is a multidisciplinary creative project where sound and texture collide. Rooted in the energetic, boundary-blurring ethos of our "Slop Pop" music, our handcrafted wearable art is a physical manifestation of our sonic universe. We design expressive, whimsical pieces meant to inspire playfulness and individuality—from intricately crocheted jester hats and animal-inspired headwear to colorful patchwork pieces. Expanding beyond apparel, we also innovate within the movement arts with our original crocheted flow ropes: soft, illuminated, and beginner-friendly kinetic props. Every stitch and fabric choice is an invitation to step out of the mundane and into a world where art is not just observed, but worn, played with, and fully experienced.  At the core of WYRDandy is a commitment to crafting immersive experiences, both on stage and in the physical items we create. What began as an auditory journey through our music has naturally evolved into a visual and tactile brand. Our wearable art collection is designed for the bold and the expressive, offering a mix-and-match aesthetic that pairs stylish, cool silhouettes with unexpected elements like rabbit fur, horns, and clown collars. We take pride in our textile craftsmanship, creating vibrant, upcycled fabric headwear featuring unique fringes and textures, alongside hand-crocheted beanies that celebrate vivid, contrasting color palettes. We also push the boundaries of functional art with our proprietary crocheted flow ropes—a soft, beginner-friendly take on the "puppy hammer" featuring rechargeable lights for kinetic, illuminated play.  Whether we are performing a set or setting up a booth, our mission remains the same: to foster a community of creativity, movement, and unapologetic self-expression.
