Handmade Handa

I make stationary, office decor and gift wrapping out of recycled materials. I’ve been doing it as a side hustle for about a year and now I am fully diving in to make it a full-time gig. What makes my product special is that I try to reuse as much as possible. If I have a little strips of paper, I try to make a bookmark out of it or I use it as packaging to ship an order. If I have little things like little scraps of fabric or ribbon and I can’t use them, I give them to fellow makers that use them as part of their products. For instance, I have one fellow maker that makes mini felt Pocket keychains and hair clips, and she stuffs them with ribbon and extra pieces of material instead of buying polyester filling. I really do try to reduce waste as much as possible.
