Our story
House of Crimson & Clover has been through many iterations. As a sufferer of multiple disorders both internally and externally, I’ve spent years studying the ingredients behind everyday products, and that knowledge made it impossible to ignore how many products miss the mark entirely, lie about content, or overcharge heavily for mass‑production in commercial products. I began to understand the benefit and need for small‑batch soaps, salves, butters, tattoo balms, pet‑care products, and so many others made with intention, carefully considered ingredients, and formulas rooted in creativity and problem solving. Because I work a full 9–5 outside of my craft, this business became a passion project rather than a profit‑driven machine, and that freedom let me create with joy instead of cutting corners for scale. My background as a scientist gives me a deep understanding of the chemicals, fillers, preservatives, and stabilizers that large companies rely on to mass‑produce products with long shelf lives and for aesthetic. Knowing what goes into them pushed me toward making safer, cleaner alternatives. Over time, my personal practice in spiritual work opened another creative door, leading me into crafting jewelry and eventually, I started designing leather harnesses, upcycling clothing to achieve alt aesthetic, and chainmail accessories. One of the things that makes my work truly unique is that with a few exceptions, I rarely make anything twice: one batch, one necklace, one harness...each piece is a singular creation, with it's own distinct personality, meant for one person, and never intended for replication. This art began to materialize into so much more, feeding into and embracing my own aesthetic as I explored different ways of expression through creation. Many of my ideas are born from the quiet rebellion of someone who didn't want to use the same accessories, decor, or to express myself. My business has been a slow journey toward self‑acceptance
