Our story
Personality Bites is a boutique artisanal bakery right here in Wilmington, North Carolina, built around a curated line of bento cakes, elevated shortbread cookies, scones, and cupcakes. I wanted to build an intentional, dark-luxury culinary brand for people who are tired of the same old traditional bakery norms and actually appreciate deep flavors, exact craftsmanship, and an aesthetic with some edge.
​Why I Started It
​Honestly, the whole thing sparked out of pure frustration. I was in a past professional setting where I pitched an idea to gift personalized cookies, and it was completely dismissed. Instead of letting it go, that rejection lit a fire under me. It made me realize I wasn't willing to let other people dictate my creative limits. I built Personality Bites from the ground up to be a space where I have total creative control, where uncompromising quality is the baseline, and where bold ideas actually live. It came down to a flat-out refusal to stay inside someone else's lines and a drive to build something entirely my own.
