A Wave Is coming

AWIC (A Wave Is Coming) is an Indianapolis-based streetwear and lifestyle brand making limited-release apparel and accessories — tees, bucket hats, scarves, and collaborative capsule pieces. We've been selling since 2021, starting with in-person pop-ups, friends and family, and Instagram, with no paid marketing. Since then we've brought AWIC to streetwear markets in Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Chicago. What makes our work different is that every piece carries a message first. The name comes from a 2017 conversation about staying the course: if you keep putting in the work and don't quit, the wave keeps coming. We run a drop-only model with no restocks and no discounts, so every release is limited and every piece is an original. The brand stands for individuality, authenticity, the journey, and community. Our customers, who we call The Originals, wear AWIC as an expression of who they're becoming, not to follow a trend. Waves don't stop.
