Our story
Hi! Im Cat. My creativity pushed its way to the forefront about 7 years ago as I was trying to navigate grief after a super hard loss and tryng to find what was left of me on the other side of the wreckage. Ive been creating and sparsley selling my creations since then. Nature and creating allowed me to heal and carry on with life.
The various media i use are driftwood, river rocks, seashells, dried flowers, anything useful I find in nature and also anything I find on the ground that can be repurposed such as rusty metal. Any cording I use is typically cotton, hemp and leather and any metals i use are typically copper and silver. I use clay, glass, wood, shell and metal beads, many of them I make myself.
I create home decor mainly with driftwood including but not limited to essential oil warmers, hanging shelves or unique shelves, lamps and wall lights, unique wall art consisting of faces and people i see in driftwood, rocks and shells.
The jewelry i create flows along a more boho/hippie style with Nordic and American Indian influence using mainly copper, silver and various beads.
I enjoy making baskets out of cotton cording and I wrap rocks for decor using leather, hemp and various items listed above.
I love making belt pouches and other types of small trinket bags made of leather and various repurposed fabrics.
Making paper and binding small doodle books with various fabrics and leather as the cover has been a fairly recent craft i found and enjoy.
Another new love I have is making porcelain clay and creating mini things such as trinket holders, magnets and ornaments. Also tea cups and pots.
I never limit myself to any certain items and what I create is always different and unique because inventory relies solely on what nature has shown me, given to me and inspired me with.
I look forward to seeing where this takes me and look forward to working with many new folks.
