Studio BCH - Barbara C. Hartman

I am a formally trained lifelong artist, selling in markets since 2023. Before this, I sold my work on an individual basis. My work includes one-of-a-kind acrylic and watercolor paintings on canvas, wood panel, and paper. I offer archival prints and greeting cards of my paintings. During the holidays, I create a limited set of hand painted ceramic ornaments. My garden, my travels, and the objects and places that hold meaning for me inspire me; a simple bouquet of flowers, my grandmother’s teacups, seaglass, pebbles, a formal garden. My work blends abstraction and pattern with a fanciful spirit and is known for its bright, serene, joyful color.
