My name is Ariel B. Cartwright and I am a mix media (ink and acrylic paint) artist who is interested in exploring art at its most basic level by using shapes, lines, contrast, and color to make compositions that create balance between order and chaos. My goal is to make artwork that feels like good math, pushes the boundaries of what balance means, and still evokes complex emotions through it simplicity. I use pens, stencils, straight edges, and canvas to create order, then introduce water, acrylic paint/ink and gravity to create chaos. Occasionally, I offer small crochet items like scrunchies, keychains, amigurumi, and bags.
