The Loaf Lounge began with my sweet corgi, Kourtley. When he was diagnosed with kidney disease, baking sourdough became my comfort during difficult nights. For the past two years, I’ve been perfecting my sourdough bread, with Kourtley always waiting by the gate for his first bite. What started as a way to cope grew into something more, allowing me to reconnect with my childhood passion for baking. Today, I bring that same love into sourdough desserts, from gourmet cookies to soft cinnamon rolls. Every loaf and sweet treat honors Kourtley’s memory.
