Dollhouse by Afsanaville

My name is Afsana, and I am a local ceramic pottery artist and owner of Dollhouse Pottery, a minority woman-owned small business based in Hancock, New York. Every piece I make is rooted in a genuinely hands-on process, made in my studio in Hancock, NY. I harvest my own clay, mix and formulate my own non-toxic, food-safe glazes, and fire each piece myself in my home studio. This from-the-earth approach gives my work a distinct character that mass-produced pottery simply can't replicate, and it's something customers consistently connect with. My pieces have found a warm following with local customers, who tell me they love how the work feels both trendy and personal, easy to fit into everyday life, and meaningful as gifts. I'd love to bring that same connection to each market and its community and share the story behind each piece with market visitors.
