Question 1

How are vendors selected?

Accepted Answer

TLC is a curated market, meaning we carefully select vendors based on their products, brand presentation, originality, and overall fit for each event. We also aim to offer a diverse mix of categories to create the best possible shopping experience.

Question 2

How much does it cost to participate?

Accepted Answer

Vendor fees vary depending on the event, location, and booth type. Pricing and booth details are provided with each event application so you know what to expect before applying.

Question 3

What types of vendors are you looking for?

Accepted Answer

We're always looking for unique independent brands, local makers, vintage sellers, artists, home goods, lifestyle products, specialty foods, interactive experiences, and more. We love discovering businesses that bring something different to our markets!

Question 4

Do I have to be based in Sarasota to participate?

Accepted Answer

Not at all! While we're passionate about supporting our Sarasota community, we welcome independent brands and small businesses from surrounding areas and beyond. It's about supporting small businesses and creating meaningful local connections.

Question 5

What do I need to bring?

Accepted Answer

Vendors are responsible for bringing their own booth displays, tables, racks, signage, and any other equipment needed for their setup unless otherwise specified. Booth dimensions and event-specific requirements will be provided ahead of time.

Question 6

Is electricity available?

Accepted Answer

Electricity availability varies by venue and booth location. If your setup requires power, please mention it in your application so we can determine whether accommodations are available.

Accepted Answer

Weather policies depend on the event and venue. Indoor markets typically proceed as planned, while outdoor events may require adjustments. We'll communicate any significant weather-related updates to participating vendors.
