Vendor Events in Berthierville, QC

The first weekend of December brings a festive craft fair to the heart of Berthierville, where local artisans and makers gather at the Centre culturel to celebrate the holiday season. This annual event draws vendors from across the Lanaudière region who specialize in handmade goods, seasonal crafts, and specialty foods perfect for gift-giving and holiday entertaining. The Marché de Noël de Berthierville has become a gathering place for both makers looking to connect with their community and shoppers seeking authentic, locally-crafted items rather than mass-produced alternatives. The mixed vendor lineup reflects what makes craft fairs distinct from other seasonal events: you'll find artisans working in everything from woodcraft and jewelry to ceramics, textiles, and holiday décor, alongside food producers offering preserves, baked goods, chocolates, and other edible gifts. Regional makers use this December weekend to showcase their work during peak gift-buying season, when customers are actively looking for one-of-a-kind items with a personal touch. The atmosphere tends to be intimate compared to larger festivals, with enough space for meaningful conversations between vendors and visitors interested in the story behind each product. Held at the Centre culturel in Berthierville on December 5th and 6th, 2026, the event capitalizes on the holiday spirit and the timing when people are planning their seasonal celebrations and shopping lists. The location on Avenue Gilles-Villeneuve makes it accessible within the community, and the indoor venue provides shelter from winter weather while maintaining the warmth and energy of a traditional Christmas market. Whether you're a vendor looking to reach holiday shoppers in a established community event or a crafter seeking to build relationships with repeat customers, this craft fair offers the kind of foot traffic and engaged audience that makes early December sales worthwhile.
