Promote Your Event to Thousands of Vendors: Spotlight Listings Now Available

James Westcott·May 9, 2026·4 min read

If you organize a farmers market, craft fair, festival, or pop-up, listing on VendorsMap stays free. Always has. But if you need to fill spots fast, you can now boost your event with three paid promotion tiers that put your event at the top of the map and into our weekly vendor email digest.

The three tiers

Spotlight — $19, one-time. One month of top placement. Your event gets a gold-ringed pin on the map, a "Featured" pill on its event card everywhere it appears, and top placement on relevant state and city pages. Direct link to your application URL. No subscription, no auto-renew.

Spotlight + Email — $39, one-time. Everything in Spotlight, plus 4 weekly slots in our vendor email digest sent every Tuesday to vendors within 200 miles of your event location. The digest reaches engaged vendors who explicitly opted in to event-match emails — meaning the people most likely to apply to your event are the ones most likely to see it.

Premium — $129, one-time. Three months of top placement plus 12 weekly email digest slots. Best value for events that accept applications across a full season or for organizers running multiple events.

Who it's for

Spotlight pays back at one filled booth, full stop. If your booth fee is $75 and a Spotlight listing brings in even one extra vendor application that converts, the $19 spend is profit. The Spotlight + Email tier is the right pick if you're trying to fill 5+ spots in a tight window — the email reach amplifies what the on-site placement does. Premium is for organizers running large season-long markets or organizers with multiple shows per quarter.

Don't bother with promotion if your event is already at capacity. Don't bother if you have 6 months of lead time and casual demand. The sweet spot is 30-90 days out from your event date with at least 5 spots still to fill.

How to start

Sign in to your organizer dashboard, find the event you want to promote, and click the Promote button next to the status toggle. The modal walks you through the three tiers and sends a pre-filled email to my inbox. I reply within 24 hours with a Stripe invoice or payment link, and your promotion activates the moment payment clears.

Your first weekly email blast slot runs in the next Tuesday digest after activation. Email blast inclusion is geo-filtered: vendors within 200 miles of your event location get a "Featured this week" section in their digest with your event in it.

Promoter Terms

Paid-promoted events are held to a higher standard than free listings. By purchasing a promotion, you agree to:

  • Keep all vendor activity on VendorsMap. Promoted events use the VendorsMap application form. No external links to your own form, Eventeny, Zapplication, JotForm, etc.
  • No off-platform payments. Vendors pay through VendorsMap or you accept payment in person at the event. No Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, cash-app, wire transfers, or gift cards.
  • No misleading information about your event, fees, dates, attendance, or organizer identity.
  • No discrimination, harassment, or fraud against vendors.

Violations result in immediate listing and account termination, no refund. The reasoning: when an organizer pays to be promoted, they're putting their event in front of vendors who trust VendorsMap to surface real, well-run events. We hold paid placements to that standard.

Free listings retain the option to use external application URLs. The restriction only applies to paid-promoted events.

Questions, custom needs, dedicated emails

Larger events that want a dedicated Call-for-Vendors email sent to our full vendor list in your region can email me directly at jmcwbusiness3@gmail.com. Pricing depends on geographic scope and timing. Custom multi-event packages also available — just ask.
