Stonelake School

I create original watercolor and Sumi ink artwork inspired by Japanese traditions, seasonal beauty, and the Pacific Northwest. My handmade products include Etegami greeting cards, Oregon-inspired calendars, and Japanese calligraphy artwork. I have been teaching and selling Japanese art in the Portland community for more than 10 years. What makes my work special is the connection between traditional Japanese techniques and the natural beauty of Oregon. Each piece is created by hand with the intention of bringing a sense of beauty, warmth, and connection to everyday life. I also offer hands-on Etegami experiences(Japanese style postcard making), inviting people to slow down, create something personal, and experience a unique Japanese art tradition.
