Yellow Shed Pottery

I am a part time potter in Derry NH. My work uses a combination of wheel throwing and hand building to create functional art. I ask 'what makes us feel an object is special?' Objects that have been through or are in the process of trasition are particularly intriguing to me. They speak to me of the vastness of possibility while at the same time bringing me into the moment here and now. They represent aspects of change that are both beautiful and terrible, depending one ones point of view. My work attmepts to explore the ravages and riches of life, time, history and growth.
