To me, a font isn't just text on a page—it's structural art, history, and the perfect outfit for a meaningful story. Quire & Weft takes its name from two timeless crafts: the quire, a folded gathering of fine paper, and the weft, the thread woven through fabric. Together, they represent the heart of my work—thoughtful design, layered storytelling, and everyday objects made with intention. Inspired by the sun-warmed color and vibrant spirit of Jamaica and the quiet, weathered elegance of coastal New England, I create artful stationery, hand-poured candles, kitchen textiles, tote bags, coasters, apparel, accessories, and meaningful gifts. My collections also include imaginative stationery for children, thoughtful pieces for teachers, and a curated selection of wedding, bridal, and baby invitations. Whether I am illustrating a notecard, pairing a candle with a coordinating stationery collection, or creating something special for the home, every detail is thoughtfully considered. Penned on paper, poured by hand, printed on cloth, or designed for gathering, each piece is created to bring beauty and warmth to life’s everyday rituals. Through my beaded pen, etiquette and candle-making soirées, I also invite people to gather, create, learn, and connect.
