Three Cedars Pottery Studio

Kate Herbert has been working as a ceramic artist for more than 35 years. She received her BFA from Utah State University, studying with John Neely, in 1988. After moving to Spring City, Utah, five years ago, she established Three Cedars Pottery Studio. Currently, her work is shown in Juniper Sky Fine Art Gallery, Kayenta, Utah and Spring City Art Gallery, also showing in art festivals across the Utah and neighboring states. Taking inspiration from her newfound love of red and black stoneware and additional interests in fiber art design, macrophotography, and exploring desert landscapes, she has taken her work in a fresh, vibrant direction, utilizing pattern, color and textural contrasts in creating decorative and functional ceramic art.
