Our story
Mod North & Co. is a handcrafted wall art studio working in genuine Brazilian agate, sourced directly from Brazil and assembled by hand in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Founded in 2016 by interior designer Jessica Cortes, the studio has shipped over 10,000 pieces nationwide, helped originate the agate garland category on Etsy, served as an Anthropologie vendor from 2019 to 2023, and was featured in Drew Barrymore's Etsy Must-Haves in 2024. Every piece is composed slice by slice — and because the stone is natural, no two are alike.
