Erna Handmade Ceramics

I’m the ceramic artist behind Erna Handmade Ceramics. I began working with clay in 2021 and started selling my work in 2024. Erna Handmade Ceramics has since grown into my full time business, and I sell primarily at art markets and local events around the Seattle area. I create functional, one-of-a-kind ceramics inspired by Scandinavian simplicity, my Icelandic roots, and nature. My work is especially recognizable for its layered, flowing glazes and small playful or unexpected details. Every piece is handmade by me from start to finish in my home studio. My goal is to create pottery that feels like a small piece of art while still being something you’ll reach for and use every day. My motto is Erna Handmade Ceramics - Made for Everyday Moments.
