I’m Denise Dethlefsen, an art photographer based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Much of my work features the marvelous landscapes of the American West, seen from a less familiar perspective. Rather than seeking only iconic views, I’m drawn to the overlooked scenery, shifting textures, and unexpected moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. Through my fine art photography, I invite viewers to discover a fresh sense of place in the West.
