I’ve been a doodler for as long as I can remember — mostly because I can’t sing or dance. I’ve paid the bills as a graphic designer for years, but like any creative person with a need for control, I wanted to make my own stuff. Enter: illustration. By day, I do the day job. By night, I hunch over my iPad or tablet like a gremlin, drawing whatever pops into my head - Odd celebrity portraits from the stranger corners of pop culture. Spotlighting the almost-famous, the once-iconic, and the “wait, who is that?” faces burned into the VHS era. Unexpectedly nostalgic, and just off enough to make you smile.
