Our story

I love juxtaposition: rugged leather paired with fine gemstones, earthy minerals alongside unexpected fibers, and raw, organic elements combined with something refined and elegant. That tension between opposites is an important part of my design language. Much of my jewelry is clasp-free, allowing the wearer to become part of the creative process. Pieces can be wrapped, knotted, layered or draped in different ways, so there is no single “right” way to wear them. I create the piece; the woman wearing it creates the final look. My Threads of Nature scarves grew naturally from this same philosophy. Created from handspun and found fibers—including rescued sheep and llama wool, feathers and other textural elements—they are wearable compositions of color and texture, with no two ever exactly alike. After four decades, I remain fascinated by the unexpected: colors that shouldn’t work together but do, humble materials beside precious ones, and pieces that invite their wearer to make them entirely her own
