Lui Jewelry is an independent, woman- and Asian-owned fine jewelry studio based in Alameda, California, founded by GIA-trained jewelry designer Amanda Lui. Each piece is designed and handcrafted in small quantities, combining traditional jewelry-making techniques with hand-carved natural gemstones, solid gold, and one-of-a-kind details. Inspired by sentiment, symbolism, nostalgia, and the wonderfully strange, Lui Jewelry creates modern talismans and wearable works of art meant to feel deeply personal to their wearer. Many designs begin as original watercolor or gouache paintings before being translated into jewelry, giving each piece a distinct artistic identity. From whimsical gemstone charms to one-of-a-kind fine jewelry, every piece is thoughtfully made with an emphasis on craftsmanship, individuality, and longevity. Lui Jewelry also incorporates repurposed gold and carefully sourced vintage solid-gold chains when appropriate, giving existing materials new life through contemporary design.
