I make carefully curated Blind Date with a Book, using thoughtfully chosen new books, unique craft paper, twine, wax seals, vinyl stickers, and an array of themed bookish accessories. I've been doing it for about a year. I started by making them for friends and family as gifts, but was encouraged to start selling them by everyone who received one, so I did. I also make homemade cold pressed soaps, body butter, emulsified body butter, and lotions. They are naturally derived, sulfate, paraben, and formaldehyde free, with health, wellness, and sensitive skin in mind. I started making my own around 2 years ago for myself and my loved ones because I have sensitive skin myself and I hated looking at the ingredient list every time I went to buy a new product and saw a long list of chemicals and overly processed ingredients. Mine are all made with simple and safe ingredients that are carefully chosen with the nourishment and health of the skin and body in mind. Our skin is the largest organ after all, and we should care for it. I started selling around a year ago after I spent a year researching the best and highest quality ingredients, and trying different formulations until i perfected my products.
