About this market
The Skagit Valley Renaissance "Faire du Well" is a hands-on and interactive festival of period fun, Shakespeare, Music, Dance, Theatre, Crafts, and more. 2027 is our 1st Annual Faire (the 2nd actual faire) at the Skagit County Fairgrounds in Mt Vernon WA. We always run on the 2nd Weekend of June. (This year will be a 3 day Faire). We strive for 'period' wares, costumes, behavior... but we are Shakespearean centered, which means (among other things) that Roman, Egyptian, Faeries, Fae, Magic, Fantasy, Goblins, French, Italian, new world are also welcomed (since Shakespeare described them all!). We also honor other culture's Renaissance periods (Kodo Drummers from Japan? Welcome. Aboriginal Digeridoo Players from Australia? G'day Mate and Welcome! All history shared is welcomed.
