About this market
The main idea driving this little market is to provide a small Christmas or Holiday experience for residents of Assisted Living Facilities, some of whom, may be using wheelchairs, who will be driven to the location to see the booths, drink hot cocoa, see kids having fun in with the snow machine, feel the energy and spirit of their community. They will be driven in by professional Careway Mobility Drivers and escorted around. Simultaneously, the market will be open to the public, who can purchase vendor items, play, converse and donate to the cost of the amenities that will be provided to certain ALF visitors. There will be a vendor decorating and lighting contest, and the winner will have half of their vendor fee returned, as well as smaller rewards for 2nd and 3rd places. There will be carolers from the church, as well as live music and a worship section. All are welcome however, and encouraged to come be part of a new concept.
