Respect & Professionalism: All vendors must treat customers, fellow vendors, and market organizers with kindness and respect. Discrimination, bullying, harassment, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. 2. Vendor Fees: All vendor fees must be paid by the required deadline to secure your space. Fees and refund policies will be communicated before booking. 3. Setup & Arrival: Vendors must arrive on time and complete setup before the market opens. Early breakdowns are not permitted without organizer approval. 4. Cleanliness: Vendors are responsible for keeping their spaces clean and disposing of trash properly. All spaces must be cleaned before leaving. 5. Food Vendor Requirements: Food vendors must follow all applicable health department regulations and maintain the required permits, food safety practices, and licenses. Vendors must clearly describe the food they are serving, including ingredients and potential allergens, so shoppers can make informed choices. Food vendors must also ensure that food is prepared, stored, and served safely. 6. Business Promotion: Vendors are encouraged to promote Diversity Market on social media, invite customers, and support other participating businesses. 7. Respect Vendor Spaces: Vendors must remain within their assigned spaces and must not block walkways, entrances, or neighboring businesses. 8. Positive Environment: Fighting, threats, inappropriate conduct, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. 9. Customer Service: Vendors are expected to provide professional, honest, and welcoming customer service. Vendors should answer shoppers’ questions about their products, food, ingredients, pricing, and available resources. 10. Community Support: Diversity Market is about more than selling products. We encourage vendors to support local families, share resources, and help strengthen our community. 11. Safety & Responsibility: Vendors are responsible for their merchandise, equipment, and business operations. All vendors must follow applicable safety rules and organizer instructions. Security information and procedures will be provided to vendors before or during the event, and all vendors must follow those instructions. 12. Rule Enforcement: Failure to follow market rules may result in a warning or removal from the event. Serious safety violations may result in immediate removal.
