About this market
The Bristol Christmas Festival & Austrian Market is a free two-day holiday celebration in Unity Park, Bristol, Rhode Island, run by a volunteer committee as a not-for-profit town event. Somewhere between 8,000 and 12,000 people come through across the weekend for the European-style holiday market, the artisan vendors, entertainment on both days, and the Grand Illumination when the town Christmas tree and the lights along Hope Street are switched on. This is the vendor marketplace at the heart of it. We are taking applications for 50 vendor spaces across the two days: 30 craft and artisan makers and 10 packaged food and drink producers, with the balance held for the Austrian market and returning traders. Saturday 5 December and Sunday 6 December, 12:00pm to 5:00pm both days. Vendors are expected for both days, and the $300 booth fee covers the whole weekend. Applications and vendor planning for 2026 are handled through VendorsMap rather than the old website form.
