9th Annual Holiday Market at the Harahan VFW Kick off the holiday season at the 9th Annual Holiday Market at the Harahan VFW, a cherished community tradition celebrating local makers, artisans, and small businesses. With more than 50 vendors offering handmade gifts, holiday décor, gourmet treats, jewelry, artwork, vintage finds, and one-of-a-kind treasures, it's the perfect place to find meaningful gifts while supporting local businesses. Families can enjoy free admission, free photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus, and complimentary gift bags for the first 50 guests each day, creating a festive shopping experience for all ages. Hosted by Julie Newchurch Henderson and Rachel Rivera of The Wandering Possum, this well-established event has become one of the area's favorite holiday markets. Held at the Harahan VFW Post 3267 on Saturday, November 21 (10:00 AM–4:00 PM) and Sunday, November 22 (10:00 AM–2:00 PM), the market combines a warm holiday atmosphere with a carefully curated mix of indoor and outdoor vendors. Whether you're shopping for unique Christmas gifts or simply looking to enjoy the start of the holiday season, you'll find a welcoming community event that brings together local talent, festive traditions, and holiday cheer.
