About this market
The McIntosh 1890s Festival is a historic fall arts and crafts festival held in the charming Victorian town of McIntosh, midway between Ocala and Gainesville on Highway 441. The event features over 250 juried vendors selling handmade arts, crafts, antiques, custom jewelry, metalwork, woodwork, photography, plants, and homemade goods. Food vendors offer traditional fare including funnel cakes, kettle corn, hotdogs, and more. The family-friendly festival provides all-day free live musical entertainment ranging from bluegrass to country to gospel, with activities for children. Held annually in October, the festival attracts an estimated 35,000 visitors to McIntosh's historic streets lined with Victorian homes and live oak canopies. Free admission welcomes visitors to this community fundraiser that has been a tradition since 1974.
