🐶We're super excited to share the details about our annual Pooch Plunge at Bangor Memorial Park Pool We typically see over 35 adorable dogs joining in on the excitement each year! 🐕🎉 📅 Date: August 23rd 🕚 Time: 11am - 1pm The pool will be open to the public for dogs only (no humans swimming this time—pups get the whole place to themselves! 🏊♂️🐾). Our patrons will pay a small $5 entry fee per dog to join the plunge and enjoy the day. (this is not applicable to vendors this is a fee our pup participants pay for clarification) We're expanding this year by adding dog-friendly vendors for the first time, and we'd love to have you there! We're looking for vendors offering all things doggy-related, such as: 🍖 Homemade or specialty dog treats 🧣Custom leashes, collars, bandannas, toys, apparel, and other pup goodies. Best part? Vendor spots are completely free this year—no booth fees at all! 🎈 This is our first time trying out vendors at the event, so we're keeping it simple and welcoming to help make it a success. Of course, any donations to the parks board will be graciously accepted, and hugely appreciated! 🙏❤️ We're also actively seeking a local animal shelter to partner with us! We'd love to have them on-site to accept food, toy, blanket, or supply donations that the shelter needs most — and possibly offer on-the-spot adoptions for pups looking for their forever homes 🏡🐾 All vendor spaces will be approximately 10ft x 10ft. Please come weather prepared, rain or shine event. No electricity will be provided.
